| DECK-THANE PRIMER (Elasto-Deck Systems) |
| Parking Deck System with Metal Grit Non-Skid Finish in 42 colors for waterproofing parking decks, roofs, and stadiums. APPLICATION GUIDE | MAINTENANCE MANUAL AVAILABLE COLOR:
A one component, moisture cured, polyurethane based primer for concrete and wood surfaces, used to promote adhesion of our polyurethane deck coating systems and joint sealants to concrete and wood. SURFACE PREPARATION: Except for non-moving shrinkage cracks, all other cracks and joints must be sealed with ELASTO-THANE 230, a single-component, polyurethane sealant. All surfaces, where necessary, must be primed with DECK-THANE PRIMER (or the primer specified in the product’s documentation) prior to application of the coating system, except for plywood in good condition. All surfaces must be structurally sound and adequately sloped to drain. Only exterior grade plywood, c.c.-plugged and sanded, in conformance with U.S. product standard PSI-66, must be used. Plywood must be installed with all joints tightly butted and properly blocked to prevent differential deflection between plywood panels. Only ring shank nails must be used 4" (10.2 cm) o.c. along panel edges and 8" (20.3 cm) o.c. at intermediate supports. For best results, the surface that has been coated with DECK-THANE PRIMER should be allowed to cure for a minimum of 2 hours before the application of the polyurethane membrane or joint sealant. If for some reason the primer is allowed to cure in excess of 8 hours, the surface should be sanded and reprimed with DECK-THANE PRIMER. DECK-THANE PRIMER should not be applied over wet surfaces as full adhesion and penetration will not be obtained. Recommended coverage is approximately 250 sq.ft. per gallon on rough surfaces to 350 sq.ft. per gallon on smooth surfaces. FLASHING: MSDS DOCUMENTS FOR THIS SYSTEM: |

| ELASTO-POXY PRIMER (VOC) - NEW |
| Solvent-based, VOC compliant epoxy for priming metal, dry or damp concrete, and wood under adverse conditions. AVAILABLE COLORS:
‡B Componet is yellowish to amber color. A two-component, epoxy resin based concrete, metal, and wood primer for use with ELASTO-DECK 5000 and ELASTO-DECK BT Systems. The primer may also be used with other polyurethane and epoxy systems, including joint sealants. Modified Bisphenol A-Epichlorohydrin epoxy resin cured with an Amine hardener to set up to a durable tough film when used on wood, metal, or concrete (including damp or green). ELASTO-POXY PRIMER (VOC) is specially formulated as a primer for polyurethane coatings that are to be put down under conditions which would normally be considered adverse for application. On green concrete (concrete that is more than 8 days, but less than 28 days old), concrete floors poured in metal pans, or where the surrounding water table might cause a damp condition, ELASTO-POXY PRIMER (VOC) will set up to form a sound surface for polyurethanes and epoxies to bond to. ELASTO-POXY PRIMER (VOC) also has excellent adhesion to metal and wood surfaces. SURFACE PREPARATION: Except for non-moving shrinkage cracks, all other cracks and joints must be sealed with ELASTO-THANE 230, a single-component, polyurethane sealant. | ELASTO-POXY PRIMER DG (Damp & Green) |
| Epoxy resin primer with a special hardener for use on damp and green concrete that may ne applied under adverse conditions. AVAILABLE COLORS:
‡B Componet is clear to yellowish color. A two-component, epoxy resin based primer for use with ELASTO-DECK 5000 and ELASTO-DECK BT Systems. The primer may also be used with other polyurethane and epoxy systems. Modified epoxy resin cured with a special hardener to set up to a durable tough film when used on damp or green concrete. ELASTO-POXY PRIMER DG is specially formulated as a clear primer for polyurethane coatings that are to be put down under conditions which would normally be considered adverse for application, e.g. rainy, cold climates. Concrete may be damp, but must be surface dry. On green concrete (concrete that is more than 8 days, but less than 28 days old), concrete floors poured in metal pans, or where the surrounding water table might cause a damp condition, ELASTO-POXY PRIMER DG will set up to form a sound surface for polyurethanes to bond to.
